Introduction
Now who is Paul? Paul is a Pharisee that bounds, put trials, or imprison them Christians from their homes. But while he is going to Damascus, Syria to arrest Christian and to bring them bound to Jerusalem God appeared then he was transformed then he had three missionary journeys and led many people to Jesus.
Paul's Childhood
Although Paul born Roman he was born into a Jewish family and in a Jewish home. His parents named Paul, Saul after Israel's first king(Saul) .That is his Jewish name but his Roman name is Paul (or gentile). His father's tribe is the tribe of Benjamin and that is also the tribe of the first king of Israel.
Until he was five years old, Paul learned from his mother the Bible stories and she also told Paul of the oppression of the people of Israel and how God delivered his people from the king. From his faithful mother, Paul heard the stories of how God helped the people from the oppression and helped them settle and take possession of the land that God promised to the Israelite. Probably Joseph and Daniel was among the many favorite characters of Paul in the stories of his ancestors. When he was five, Paul's father took over his home teaching (I don't know why did Paul's mother stop teaching him). At that age Paul began to learn the scriptures and memorizing them. Keeping it all in his heart. Both from this and in the rabbi's* (rabbi means *teacher* in Hebrew but I'm not pretty sure) school at the synagogue. Like other Hebrew boys, Paul was taken to the synagogue for a ceremony called bar mitzvah. That ceremony indicated that he was taking upon himself the full responsibility of the law. Now, he is now responsible for his own doing and was seated in the men's section in the synagogue. The more potential men were assigned to the best teachers also Paul was also included and he was taught by Gamaliel. But he was only permitted to be taught by him on age thirteen and go to Jerusalem. He was made to be a Pharisee concerning zeal, persecuting the church and teaching righteousness which is in the law, but he was blameless. Let's get back to Paul's rabbi, Gamaliel. Now Gamaliel taught Paul more about the word of God. Then he started to love the scriptures.

Paul's Pharisee hood
Now let's continue. Paul waited for someone to free them from the bondage of the Romans but Jesus saved the whole world from the bondage of sin not bondage from Romans but like other Pharisees, Jesus was rejected and didn't recognize him. Paul started persecuting the church (Now you say how can he persecute the church? "Now I will tell why he can because the church is not the building but the people meeting together but there is also a place to meet like some hotels, houses, resorts, etc.") and he also witnessed and persecuted Stephen. Stephen was put to death but before he died he said somethings to his stoners. Now maybe you are thinking he will be saying bad things to his stoners ,but no he forgave them because to die is gain and to live is Christ (and Paul said this too!). So who is Stephen? Stephen is one of the first deacons (deacons are suppose to take care of the poor in Jerusalem) of the church, Stephen was also a man full of faith. Now let's get back to what he said before he died. It was same as Jesus prayer and same meanings. Stephen's prayer was "Lord lay not this sin to their charge" and Jesus' prayer was "Lord forgive them because they don't know what they're doing." They are both forgiving their murderer though Jesus death kinda harsh death. So after that the Christians spread to other gentile nations that is why God also used his persecution and transformation and speaking about transformation that happened to him on the road to Damascus as I said earlier. He transformed from persecutor to a guide of souls to Jesus and then Jesus will lead them to God because no one comes to the father except through Jesus. Then he was blinded because of the bright light coming from above on the path to Damascus. Then God called Ananias to bring back Paul's sight ,and baptize him. Then he began his three missionary Journeys. Those missionary journeys brought many people to God (like over 2,000,000+). So I will end it here ,but if you want to read more of Paul's journeys go to the next story ,and it's on the category "bible."
