This quarter my mom taught me how to cook rice. Everyday I cook rice for my family. This is my responsibility and I learned that if I don't do my job, my family will also be affected. They will starve. I learned to be more responsible.
Now, let's get started. First, wash the pot. Next, put five cups of rice or the quantity you need enough for your family but don't let the other rice in the container get wet because worms or bugs will grow. Then, rinse the rice two times. After that, you must put clean water in the pot. The water level must be equal to the number of cups of rice or you may add a little more depending on the type of rice. You may also know the ratio of the rice and the water level using your hands. First, level the rice and then put your pointer in the rice until it reaches the bottom, mark the height of the rice with your thumb. The water level from the rice should equal to the measure of the rice. After you have put the water, dry the pot. Finally, place the pot to the cooker and turn it on.
First time it's hard but when you do it every time it becomes easier and easier so don't be frustrated when you do something new the first time because you will learn and improve the things you don't do before.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24
